Macabre Design:
Terms of Service
All clients must agree with all terms listed or forfeit the ability to purchase or utilize any of the services outlined through Macabre Design.
Payment is expected upfront, prior to making a commission request. Payment can only be accepted through Ko-Fi.
Due to the custom nature of your commission, full refunds are not typically made available, once progress on a client’s art has begun. However, partial refunds are offered under certain circumstances.
→ If your commission is within the early stages (i.e. the initial sketch), up to 30% of the total amount may be eligible for a refund.
→ If significant progress has been made such as linework, base coloring, rendering, etc. a refund will decrease accordingly from 30% to no refund.
→ Any project near completion is non-refundable. All refund requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and handled fairly.Clients may request the progression of their commission at any time and may receive regular updates on the progress of their artwork.
Modifications are not automatically granted to clients, unless specifically outlined within a service. Any future modifications outside of that provided service will come with an additional charge and said charge, as well as completion time, is highly dependent on the complexity of the modification.
→ Clients may make their own modifications to any of the graphical content provided but may not remove any associated credits.Clients reserve the right to modify, publish, and transmit any of the content provided through services made available to them, but should not participate in the transfer of sale(s) and/or modifications without giving appropriate credit.
→ Modifications may include color changes, added graphical elements, and more.
→ Publications & transmissions may include commercial and non-commercial use.Timelines on commissions vary. Requesting a commission does not mean that a client will receive their commission during the specified timeframe from the moment their commission has been requested. Clients typically wait in a queue in the order that commissions are requested and should not expect their project to be worked on until the previous project is complete or near completion.
→ Clients are expected to look at their specific commission’s summary for details on timelines for their commissions and on Trello to see the progression of their commission, as well as where they may be in queue, but may request more information at any time.Trello serves as a way to show clients where they may be placed in queue, as well as the progression of their commission. Cards on Trello do not specify client information and clients must refer to the card that has been linked to them (once their commission has been approved and accepted) to see any updates/progression on their specified commission.
Graphical content may not be used in any way deemed unlawful or harmful. Clients are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to the content associated with Macabre Design and through extension of the service(s) provided to them. Not only should clients be strictly in accordance with the terms of services outlined, but also with local and federal laws.
